  2. 1 3/4 pounds french beans trimmed and chopped
  3. 1 onion peeled and finely diced
  4. 1 clove garlic peeled and finely chopped
  5. 1/2 tablespoon butter
  6. 4 1/4 cups vegetable stock
  7. 2/3 cup soured cream
  8. salt
  9. cayenne pepper
  10. 2 tsp majoram, finely chopped
  11. 3 sprigs parsley finely chopped
  12. 2 sprigs savory
  13. 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  14. 8 slices bread baguette

The instruction how to make French Bean Soup with Toasted Baguette

  1. Heat oil in a large saucepan and sautu00e9 potatoes for 1-2 mins. Add onion and garlic. Add beans, savory and stock and simmer for 15 mins. Meanwhile, heat butter in a pan and toast baguette slices for 2-3 mins until crispy. Remove savory and around 1 cup green beans. Add 1/2 cup sour cream and puru00e9e. Season and add marjoram. Return beans to soup and bring to a boil again. Serve with toasted baguette. Add remaining sour cream and garnish with parsley.
